Series Aims to Help Travelers Survive Summer Trips
Phoenix, Ariz., April 28, 2010. The countdown to summer has begun, which means Arizonans are weeks away from commencing on their annual summer vacations. To help travelers prepare for impending plans, AAA, the largest leisure travel agency group in North America, is introducing an inaugural Summer Travel Survival Series throughout May. The weekly series will be compiled by AAA travel experts and contain travel tips, tools and resources.
“Proper research and planning are imperative for surviving summer travel,” said Jim Prueter, travel spokesman for AAA Arizona. “This series will offer information that will help travelers spend more time enjoying their trip, rather than getting caught up in the trip details.”
The series will be distributed each Friday in May leading up to Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer.
AAA Arizona, the Arizona affiliate of AAA, provides automotive, insurance and auto travel services to nearly 800,000 Arizona members. Since its founding in 1927, AAA Arizona has been a leading advocate for the safety and security of all travelers. In 2008, AAA was ranked the No. 1 “socially responsible” brand by Landor’s BrandAsset® Valuator.
