AAA Calls on Arizonans to Build Top 100 AZ 'Do & See' List

Phoenix, Ariz., February 2, 2011. The Grand Canyon State will celebrate its centennial Feb. 14, 2012, and AAA Arizona is preparing for the celebration. To commemorate this milestone, the auto club is inviting everyone across the state to help build the list of top 100 things to see and do in Arizona.

“Arizona is a magnificently beautiful state with unique landscapes, incredible historical landmarks, and a vibrant collection of cultures,” said Don Nunnari, vice president of membership products and services. “Therefore, we are asking fellow Arizonans to tell us what they love to do and see in our great state so we can highlight the best our state has to offer.”

The club is calling for all Arizona locals – members and non-members, alike – to submit their favorite Arizona attractions. The list will accept both the grand and obscure, from forests, to fiestas, to food festivals.

Contributors can see if their suggestions make the list beginning with the May/June 2011 edition of Highroads magazine. AAA will continue to feature the list in the bi-monthly magazine until Arizona’s 100th birthday in February 2012.

To submit your ideas, e-mail highroads@arizona.aaa.com or become a fan of AAA Highroads Magazine on Facebook and post your suggestion to our wall. Submissions will be accepted through March 15, 2011.
